Pomade |
This is a waxy substance which gives the hair a shiny, sleek look. It lasts longer than other products – without drying the hair which other products do. For long hairs, Pomades gives not only Shine, but Separation too. |
Make sure your hair is not wet. It is ok even if hair is 20% wet.

Wax |
Similar to pomade but has more “grip” on the hair than Pomade. Wax is a good choice for short-cuts and thick hair. |
Make sure your hair is completely dry.

Muds & Fiber |
This offers greater control over the hair for style. Is usually used for short, dishevelled style and for giving “separation” to long hairs. |

Cream |
This is a subtle, less aggressive and almost invisible styling product. It is for men who want some style but do not want to show off too much. Creams give shine with subtle finish, but prevent hairs from flying away. |
You can use it on dry or slightly wet hair. For fine hair, use only a small amount; otherwise your hair will look greasy. |
Gel |
For a wet, sleek, “look at me” kind of look, just go for Gel! A good quality Gel will ensure that you retain your style while combing. Gels are usually of 2 types: Firm hold or Light hold. Firm hold gel is for thick & coarse hair. Light hold gel is for fine hair. |
On wet hair, apply it to get the wet look, even after the water dries out. On drier hair, use the gel to hold a style in place. If you want to change style (after applying), dry your hand and run them through your hair. Give the new style. Wait till the hair dries. |
Hair spray |
This the best option for thin or thinning hair! Hair spray creates in illusion of full hairs and can also hold a style in place. |
